KITCHEN Victorian style kitchens are always very ornate. There are pots and pans stacked up on various shelving, cupboards filled with spices, a pantry full of perishable foods and ice boxes to store anything where chilling is required, magically enchanted to keep in the cold better of course. There are counter surfaces and tables for food preparation, a large brick oven, and gas-powered stove tops. Anyone wishing to make a midnight snack is well equipped. |

DETENTION Pranksters and slackers alike will find themselves in this dreaded room. The atmosphere is dark and dreary, and it's always either too hot or too cold. Nowadays it's filled with desks, but the back closet holds an assortment of switches and paddles from a time where punishments were a little more severe. Generally students are left to work on mundane writing assignments or to do chores for whatever professor happens to have detention duty. |

BREWING ROOM Potions class is a difficult one to pass. This room often goes through a lot of remodeling, especially because so many students find themselves with melting or exploding cauldrons. There is a stockroom in the back and a cabinet filled with spare books should students need to borrow one when theirs gets liquefied, and of course there is always an emergency stock of ingredients. |
